SIP, Alligators, and iPads at Enterprise Connect

What do SIP trunks and alligators have in common? You can enjoy both at the Enterprise Connect Conference next week in Orlando, March 26-29. XO is headed back to Enterprise Connect this year, which is taking place again at the fantastic Gaylord Hotel in Kissimmee. If you have to be inside at a conference while in Florida, this is the place to be. You get to experience an indoor garden of palm trees and see wildlife as you make your way to the conference sessions. I took this photo of a keeper feeding alligators in the hotel at last year’s conference.

Enterprise Connect is the premier industry conference for enterprise IP telephony, converged networks and unified communications. Last year the SIP trunking sessions were among the most attended, and by all accounts, it’s due to be a repeat this year. SIP trunking remains one of the hottest technology trends in enterprise communications and there will be an entire track dedicated to it.

Kicking off the conference on Monday morning at 9:00am is a session called, “SIP Trunking:  Who’s Offering What”. Jake Heinz, XO’s vice president of marketing and product strategy will be a panelist with eight other SIP trunking experts. If you can’t attend the session, but want to hear what the panelists have to say about SIP carriers’ offerings – pricing, service availability, service level agreements, implementation best practices and more, I’ll be tweeting from the session. You can read what’s being said by following @xocomm on Twitter or the hashtags #SIP and #EC12.

There’s More – Your Chance to Win an iPad

Be sure to stop by XO Communications at booth #1416. We’ll be featuring our portfolio of advanced IP communications, including Enterprise SIPHosted PBXWAN Solutions, and Contact Center as a Service. We’ll be holding a prize drawing for an iPad2 on Wednesday, March 28th, so make sure to get your raffle ticket before then.

I hope to see you there!
