Conference Types
- Meet Me
- All participants call the XO conference center using a Toll number at a specified time. A conference call operator greets and escorts participants into the conference call. The conference operators ask for the NAME OF THE COMPANY and the CONFERENCE CHAIRPERSON. Participants are placed on music hold or into open conference until all parties arrive. Each participant pays for the long distance charges.
- 800 Meet Me
- Same as above, but it's a Toll Free call.
- Dial Out
- A conference call operator contacts participants within five minutes of the time reserved. Participants are placed on music hold or into open conference until all parties arrive.
- Pass Code Meet Me
- Participants call the XO conference center using a Toll number and enter a prearranged 4-6 digit pass code at the time of the conference. Participants are automatically placed into the conference with no assistance from the conference call operator. Each participant pays for the long distance charges.
- 800 Pass Code Meet Me
- Same as above, but it's a Toll Free call.
- Document Conference
- Participants can log on to a designated Web site and share documents and presentations over the Internet. Each participant must have Internet Explorer 4.0+ or Netscape Navigator, and a 56k Internet connection.

- Chair-Originated Automated
- Once the reservation is made, the chairperson initiates and conducts the conference call from his or her own touch-tone phone. XO® Quick Conference can also be used effectively for this type of call. Your account manager can provide details, or please call 888-677-6398.
- Ad Hoc Conference
- Calls can be scheduled on the fly. The Chairperson is issued a dial-in number and pass code, and can make conference calls on a 24/7 basis. We recommend you try XO® Quick Conference if you need to schedule these types of calls. Please call 888-707-6398 for more information.
- Full Monitoring
- A conference coordinator stays on the line throughout the duration of the call to assist and answer any questions.
- Rebroadcast
- Get your message recorded then replayed to anyone calling a preassigned number and pass code. Rebroadcast is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for any time period you desire.
- No Announcing Late Arrivals
- Participants arriving late to an operator-assisted call will not be announced when they enter the conference.
- No Music Hold
- Participants will not hear music while they wait for the call to begin. They will be automatically entered into the conference.
- Secured Mode
- The conference leader can enter a security code during the conference, which prevents any additional participants from entering the call.
- Blast Dial
- All participants are dialed in sequence and greeted with an automated message.
- Participant Notification
- XO operators will notify all participants of an upcoming conference.
- No Entry/ Exit Announcements
- Participants will be able to join or leave the call without entry or exit tones.
- No Roll Call
- The operator will not conduct a roll call at the beginning of the call.
- Translation/Interpretation
- Your conference can be translated into any foreign language, or you may have an interpreter present during the conference. (A 48-hour notice is required for this service.)
