Submitting a Trademark Claim

    Instructions on Submitting a Claim

    If you believe that your copyrighted work or trademark has been infringed by a web site hosted by XO, please submit a written complaint and include the following information:

    1. A copy of the copyright or trademark registration, or other suitable proof of ownership, for the material you believe is being infringed.
    2. A written statement including the following:
      1. An assertion that you are the owner of the copyrighted work or trademark
      2. A description of the manner in which your copyright or trademark is being infringed
      3. An assertion that you have not authorized the subscriber to copy or display your copyrighted work or trademark; and,
      4. An assertion that you do not believe that the subscriber has been otherwise authorized to copy or display your copyrighted work or trademark.
    3. The statement must be accompanied by a declaration, signed by the copyright or trademark owner, stating: "I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct."
