Dear XO Q1 New Orleans Attendee,
Congratulations on earning your way to New Orleans! In appreciation and recognition for your success in Q1 2010, we look forward to having you join us in New Orleans. Your accomplishments will be recognized at the Royal Sonesta Hotel New Orleans on Tuesday, June 15 - Friday, June 18.
The XO Communications Business Services Leadership team will be recognizing your success at the Awards Dinner & Ceremony, held on Wednesday, June 16. With numerous activities and events taking place in this exciting city, this will be a trip you will not want to miss!
In addition to the ceremonies and fun, I look forward to us taking a day to give back to the community by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity New Orleans. On Thursday, June 17, all winners will volunteer their time and assist with home construction in an area that is still in desperate need of assistance. This is a team that gets things done, and I look forward to us making a difference in the New Orleans community.
Thank you for your great achievements in Q1, I look forward to recognizing you in person next month.

New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating sub-standard poverty housing. Habitat is a long-term housing solution that provides the opportunity to buy simple, decent, and affordable housing to lower-income families in our community. Habitat finances a loan, builds the home and sells the home to qualified applicants in partnership with supporters and volunteers.
Habitat sells homes at NO PROFIT (just the cost of land and materials) for around $75,000 which is paid over either a 20 or 30 year home loan term. We provide our families with the benefit of NO DOWN PAYMENT and a 0% INTEREST RATE for the entire term of your mortgage. The mortgage payment is $250-350 per month, depending on the terms of the mortgage. When this is combined with the cost of homeowner's insurance, flood insurance, property taxes, termite coverage (which add up to a monthly 'escrow' payment), it costs an average of $450-$600 per month to buy a home through Habitat. This is less than most people pay on rent!
