HERNDON, VA – April 13, 2010 – XO Communications (OTCBB: XOHO) today announced it is now offering Carrier Ethernet access to its extensive nationwide Ethernet infrastructure (reaching nearly four million buildings) via its new service connectivity with CENX, operator of the world’s first Carrier Ethernet exchange. Connecting with CENX enables the global Carrier Ethernet community connectivity at bandwidths from 3 Mbps to 10 Gbps to locations served by XO.
Carrier Ethernet connection to and from XO Communications’ large footprint is now seamless and simple with CENX’s connection and integration services. XO Communications Ethernet services are offered with demanding SLAs and granular bandwidth options in more than 75 metropolitan cities and to the vast footprint where XO delivers last-mile Ethernet over copper.
