StarView Solutions Selects XO Communications to Provide Expanded and Enhanced Transport Services
- Upgrade to Dedicated Internet Access and Ethernet over Copper Delivery Improves Speed and Efficiency of Services for Small and Midsized Customers
HERNDON, VA – Oct. 13, 2009 – XO Communications (OTCBB: XOHO) today announced that it has been selected by StarView, a supplier of business-ready IP communications solutions, to provide Dedicated Internet Access and Ethernet over Copper transport services. By choosing XO – a Tier 1 Internet provider with national reach – the company will be well positioned to offer customers high-speed, high-capacity VoIP services at a competitive price.
The upgrade to Ethernet over Copper expands StarView’s product offering, giving customers the option of increasing their network speed up to 20 Mbps. The faster and more efficient network connects directly to StarView’s Class 5 switches, offering a high-quality connection to users. The enhancements also allow StarView to support multi-location enterprise customers whose needs go beyond T-1 service, previously the only type offered through the company.
