XO Communications Extends Availability of Network Services Campaign for Large Enterprises and Service Providers
Company Continues Campaign to Offer the Industry's Most Competitive Rates and Installation Guarantees for High-Capacity Long Haul Network Services
RESTON, VA - In response to increased customer demand for network bandwidth and to give large enterprises and service provider customers a better choice in the wake of industry consolidation, XO Communications today announced an extension of its campaign offering the industry's most competitive rates and guarantees for high-capacity network services delivered over its extensive nationwide inter-city and metro networks.
In a separate announcement today, XO will increase the capacity of its core network by 200 percent, deploying an additional 800 Gigabits (Gbps) of capacity on major coast-to-coast routes across its nationwide 18,000 route-mile optical network, augmenting a capacity expansion XO completed last year which delivered 400 Gbps of capacity across its network. The XO campaign offers carriers, cable companies, content providers, large enterprises and wireless companies increased incentives to leverage XO's suite of inter-city and metro network transport solutions, including Ethernet, IP Transit, and Wavelength services. Under the 3 Guarantee Program, XO will offer large enterprise and wholesale customers the following guarantees to beat valid competing offers for comparable long haul and high-capacity network services:
- Best Price Guarantee: XO will beat competing prices for 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps Wavelength services and 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps Ethernet services along select major XO network routes.
- Install Guarantee: XO will provide a one month service credit for these Ethernet Services, IP Transit and Wavelength services if it fails to meet the agreed upon service delivery date.
- 90-Day Risk Free Trial Guarantee: XO will allow customers to trial its IP Transit service for one 90-day period without commitment. If the customer is not satisfied, the customer only pays for the services used under the trial.
