Benefits Program
The XO® Benefits Program is an important part of an employee's total compensation. We offer a competitive set of comprehensive benefits. Full-time employees are eligible for all benefits 30 days after their date of hire, excluding 401 (k) where eligibility is the date of hire.
- Medical / Prescription / Vision
- XO employees are offered a comprehensive medical plan that includes preventive care, prescription drug benefit, dental and vision.
- Coverage available for:
- Employee
- Employee and Spouse or Domestic Partner (same or opposite sex)
Note that eligibility is limited to spouses and domestic partners who do not have access to other health insurance coverage through their employer. - Employee and Children
If the domestic partner is enrolled, the children of a domestic partner are eligible - Employee and Family
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- XO employees who participate in the High Deductible Health Plan are also eligible to contribute to a Health Savings Account.
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- XO employees have the opportunity to participate in Flexible Spending Account(s) to fund eligible health care and / or dependent day care expenses on a pre-tax basis.
- Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance -Basic
- XO employees are provided with immediate coverage equal to 1 1/2 times their base annual earnings at no cost. Employees also have the opportunity to elect additional coverage of 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 times their base annual earnings.
- Dependent Life Insurance
- XO employees have the opportunity to purchase life insurance for eligible dependents.
- Short-Term Disability (STD)
- XO employees are provided with an income protection benefit in the event an illness or injury prevents them from working.
- Long-Term Disability (LTD) Basic
- XO employees are provided with Long Term Disability (LTD) coverage for illness or injury that continues beyond the 26 weeks of STD. Employees can also enroll into the LTD Supplemental benefit to increase the level of LTD coverage.
- Group Legal
- XO employees have the opportunity to purchase Group Legal insurance.
- 401 (k) Savings and Retirement Plan
- XO employees may contribute from 1% - 50% of pay, on a pre-tax basis subject to IRS limits. Automatic enrollment at 3% contribution level within 60 days of hire, with 1% annual automatic contribution increase, up to 5%.
- Company match
- 50 cents on the dollar on the first 5% of employee pay period contributions
- Vesting
- 20% after 1 year.
- 60% after 2 years, and
- 100% after 3 years of service
- Plan offers a variety of investment options.
- Convenient online access 24/7 for contribution and asset allocation management.
- Loan feature available to eligible participants.
- Company match
- Vacation, Holidays, and Other Paid Leave

- 2 - 4 weeks vacation each year, based on service
- 12 holidays per year
- Paid leave for jury duty, certain military training and service, a death in employee's immediate family, and employee's subpoenaed testimony in court
- Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
- XO employees and their families have access to professional counselors for help with a broad range of personal issues.
- Educational Assistance Program
- XO employees have the opportunity to request assistance with the cost of educational expenses.
- 529 Plan
- XO employees are eligible to contribute to a 529 college savings plan directly through their personal checking and / or savings accounts.
